Give us your best startup pitch and win a trip to Israel, the Startup Nation
Makati City- Philippines- With the most startups and venture capital per capita than any other country in the world, Israel is recognized as the Startup Nation where innovation and technology have emerged to be the nation’s dominant themes. Now, startups in the Philippines have a chance to be a part of this buzzing ecosystem via Pitch Jerusalem. The Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and the Embassy of Israel in the Philippines are bringing Pitch Jerusalem to Manila, a pitch competition for innovative technology-oriented startups. To be held on Tuesday, September 19 at Qbo Innovation Hub, DTI International, Makati City.
A representative from the winning startup in the Philippines will travel to Israel to participate at the Start Jerusalem (Start JLM) on November 5-11 in Jerusalem, Israel. Airfare, accommodation and tours will be covered.
About Start JLM
The winning startup will be joined by other founders from around the globe and will take part in a “boostcamp” with workshops and sessions designed to take their product or solution to the next level. These include interactive chats and panels, specially designed ‘how-to’ workshops, visits to leading companies and exclusive networking meet-ups with the city’s startup community.
Who can apply
All Filipino technology- oriented startups which are: software- based (mobile, web, IoT); Pre-seed/ seed stage; Live product/ service and traction. Aspiring to increase the role of young entrepreneurs in the start-up ecosystem, priority will be given to founders in the 23-35 age group.
The pitch competition is presented by the Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and Embassy of Israel in the Philippines in cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry Export Marketing Bureau, Department of Science and Technology, Qbo Innovation Hub, and supported by ICCP platinum sponsor, Dayanan Business Consultancy and event sponsors, Payoneer and TrueLogic Online Solutions.
