ICCP Members Meet the Ambassador
H.E. Amb. Rafael Harpaz, joined by Yulia Rachinsky, Deputy Head of Mission and Cara De Leoz, Economic Officer, meets with the ICCP members via Zoom. The meeting was attended by Sec. William Dar of the Department of Agriculture, Mr. George Barcelon, former President of the Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Mr Joey Leviste, Chairman of the Philipines Israel Business Council of PCCI, Mr. Romeo Poquiz of PNOC and 54 members of ICCP. The ICCP’s Board of Directors headed by Sagiv Massad, Founding President Isidor Gilan and President Emeriti Ferdinand Sarfati and Itamar Gero, and Mr. Lee Blumenthal, Executive Director of the Jewish Association of the Philippines also attended the meeting.
The Ambassador shared with the members how Israel is reacting to the pandemic and how the government is taking action to contain the virus. Ms. Yulia Rachinsky, Deputy Head of Mission also shared some information regarding relevant innovations that are now underway to prevent, diagnose, and cure COVID 19. Members of the Chamber raised questions and presented valuable inputs to the Embassy team and further discussions were requested by the Ambassador on specific issues.
